Dr. MICHELLE A GAN, OD
Dr. Michelle Gan obtained an Optometry Degree (O.D.) from the prestigious Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO), the top optometry school in US, with an emphasis on pediatric diagnosis and treatment. For her outstanding eye care, Dr. Michelle Gan was awarded the Certificate of Excellence (2006) by MesVision, a BSK (a National Honor Recognition), Excellent Ocular Disease Management Award, Best Pediatric Clinician Award, and Exemplary Patient Care Award.
Dr. Gan has a strong foundation in child development with an A.A. degree of Child Development from Southwest College, and has a thorough understanding of disease with a Bachelor of Science of Biochemistry from San Diego State University. Dr. Gan enjoys working with people of all ages. She has worked with children aged from 6 months to 18 years old during her tenures at the Pediatric Department of SCCO clinic, Sharp-Rees Stealy Hospital and Escondido Family Practice. |
Dr. Gan also had extensive experience of families and seniors. Seniors can have very special needs and often have complex progressive eye diseases, which require specialized courses of eye treatment. Dr. Gan first began to practice these procedures at Scripps Memorial Medical Center and has carried on her work at Quantum Senior Day Care Center.

Dr. angela wernow, od
Dr. Angela Wernow is a full scope, California licensed optometrist with diverse experience in the private, corporate, clinical sectors of primary care optometry. She is TLG certified and has special interest in treating and managing common eye diseases. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis with neurology, physiology and behavior at University of California, Davis. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry at University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 2012. Though she grew up in CA she moved to the Midwest upon graduation and practiced 10 years around the Twin Cities, Minnesota.
Dr. Wernow is committed to practicing a patient-centered care, keeping patients' concerns as her top priority. She believes one of the most important characteristic of a health care provider is compassion and empathy. She says getting to know her patients motivates her to do her best. She thinks one of the best part of her job is how much she learns from my patients hopefully as much as they learn from her. In her spare time, Dr. Wernow enjoys spending time with husband and 2 kids. She also enjoys hiking, hanging out by the beach, visiting museums, and most things outdoors in the great San Deigo area.
